Other useful things a tap point can open besides reviews

A tap point is really just a shortcut to a web address. Most people use ours for Google reviews and social follows, but any page with a link can go on a tag, and some of the most useful ones have nothing to do with reviews.

Bookings

A stand at reception or on the counter that opens your online booking page lets customers rebook on the spot, without waiting for staff. Salons, clinics, gyms and restaurants get the most out of this, because the rebooking moment is right at the end of the visit.

Menus

A table point that opens your menu is useful for specials that change, allergen information, or a drinks list. Keep a printed menu available as well. Not everyone wants to read a menu on a phone, and some customers do not have one.

Forms and paperwork

New client forms, intake questionnaires, waivers for activities, sign up sheets. A tag at reception saves typing a long address from a poster.

Information pages

Parking, access and directions for a hard to find entrance.
A house guide in holiday accommodation.
Care instructions after a service, such as a new tattoo, a treatment or a new plant.
Warranty and product information in a delivered job folder.

Private feedback, done properly

Some businesses want a way for customers to send feedback directly, not publicly. That is fine as long as it sits alongside your public review route and is offered to everyone. It becomes a problem only when unhappy customers are steered to the private form and happy ones to Google, which is review gating. See asking for reviews without breaking the rules.

One job per tap point

A single tag opens a single link. Resist the urge to point it at a page of ten links, because customers do not choose, they leave. If you need several destinations, use several tap points, each clearly labelled. That is the same reason we recommend one platform per follow stand in getting follows in person.
