Ordering tap points for a whole team or fleet

Ordering one stand for one counter is simple. Equipping a fleet of vans, a team of consultants or several shops takes a little planning, and most of the problems that come up later can be avoided before anything is ordered.

Start with a list

Before ordering, write down every place a tap point will live: each counter, each vehicle, each staff member who hands out cards. Next to each one, write the link it should open. This list is the most useful thing you will make, because it is where mistakes get caught.

One link per location

If you have several locations, each has its own Google listing and its own review link. Cards for your second shop should point to your second shop. See reviews for businesses with more than one location.

Staff cards all point to the business

Google reviews belong to the business listing, not to individual staff. Every staff member’s card should open the same review page for their location. If you want to know which staff members are getting mentioned, name badges and reading the reviews do that better than separate links. See when reviews mention your staff by name.

Label everything

When a box of cards arrives, it is easy to mix up which is which. Keep them labelled by location or vehicle until they are handed out, and test each one on arrival: one tap, one scan.

Plan for turnover

Staff leave and vans get sold. Keep a few spare cards, and collect cards back when someone leaves. Cards are not personal to the staff member, so a returned card can go straight to their replacement.

Keep a spare stand

Counter stands get knocked off, stolen or damaged. A spare, already configured, means a counter is never without one for long.
